About the Professional Development Committee

The Committee shall:

  • Make recommendations to the Governing Council regarding continuing education programs. Members shall identify on an annual basis topics for the continuing education courses.
  • Make recommendations to the Governing Council regarding the administrative and editorial affairs of Benefits Quarterly. Members shall identify and recommend potential topics and authors to the editor of Benefits Quarterly.
  • Make recommendations regarding technology and online applications for educatioal and membership services
  • Stay abreast of current legislative and other developments in the employee benefits field
  • Actively promote Society membership and chapter membership
