Continuing Education—Relevant and Focused on Your Needs
Paper or Screen - It's Your Choice
To further the Society's "green" efforts, the CE course materials will be posted online in "Members Only" to view or print at no charge. The Society will continue to ship the course materials to those who apply for the exam for no additional cost. If you would like a printed version and do not want to obtain it online, are undecided whether you will be taking the exam, or want the materials for your personal enrichment, the Society will ship the course materials for a cost of $25.
Choose One Track - or Both
Do you specialize in just one area? Short on time and training dollars? The course and exam are separated into two distinct tracks – health care benefits and retirement. You can choose the one that best represents your specialty or interest – or take them both for the complete experience. Dividing the course gives you more flexibility in how you spend your professional development time – and budget. The 2012 course materials are now available in Members Only.
For CEBS graduates, Fellowship will be granted for one year for each track, or two years for both tracks.
The ISCEBS Continuing Education Courses/Examinations are available to all CEBS, GBA, RPA and CMS designees who are members of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. It is developed to keep Society members at the forefront of new developments and trends in the benefits field. Society members can elect to receive the continuing education materials as part of their membership dues. (Fellowship status is reserved for CEBS graduates.)
Additional Fellowship Options!
In addition to the annual continuing education courses/examinations for the U.S. and Canada, Society members have other ways to qualify for fellowship status. CEBS graduate members will be awarded two-year fellowship status for each CEBS course completed, provided it was not used toward earning the CEBS designation.
U.S. members who take courses from the Canadian CEBS program or Canadians who take U.S. courses will be able to use them to qualify for fellowship.

Society Fellowship
One year of Fellowship status is awarded to CEBS graduate members who pass one track of the continuing education examination, or two years for both tracks. This special distinction recognizes members who are committed to continuing their professional development by broadening their knowledge in employee benefits, compensation and key related areas.
