SPECIAL SESSIONS

Chapter Leadership Conference
The purpose of the leadership conference is to address topics critical to chapter management and share best practices. This is also an excellent opportunity to share experiences with other chapter leaders from across the country. Expect an interactive structure with breakout sessions and plenty of time to share best practices, problem-solve and formulate new ideas.  All chapter board members and committee chairs are welcome to register for the leadership conference.

2:30-4:30 p.m.

Sunday Workshops
These gatherings are designed as informal workshop sessions for employers to share strategies and practices OR for consulting practice owners to share issues and strategies to best serve client needs now and in the future.

5:00- 7:00 p.m.

Conferment Ceremony and Reception
The CEBS conferment ceremony will recognize new graduates of both the U.S. and Canadian CEBS® programs. Don't miss this opportunity to meet and congratulate the new CEBSs and new GBA, RPA and CMS designees! A reception honoring the new graduates will follow the conferment ceremony. All Symposium registrants, speakers and their guests are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.

Luncheon Roundtables
To maximize networking and the exchange of information, some of the tables at the Monday luncheon will be designated to discuss benefit topics.  If you would like to participate in one of the discussion groups, make your selections on the Symposium registration form.

Consulting Practice Owners Luncheon Workshop
This valuable networking opportunity is designed to give consulting practice owners a chance to learn new ideas from fellow business owners on issues critical to running a practice. Attendees are asked to share experiences.

This luncheon will recognize those individuals holding fellowship and their ongoing commitment to professional education.

20th Annual Symposium Golf Outing
Keeping with tradition, another memorable round of Sunday morning golf will be available at this year's Symposium. Check out the golf page for additional details.

Sightseeing Tour

Golf not your game? Would you like to see some of the local sights before the Symposium? Join other attendees, speakers, guests and families as they tour Boston on a guided tour. Additional information will be available in August 2013. Mark your calendars now - we hope to see you then!

Join a group of fellow Symposium attendees for dinner. Exciting and unique dining opportunities will be available Sunday and Tuesday evenings. Members from the area will host several dining options.  They will also provide other information about the city.

Here is an opportunity for spouses and guests to make new acquaintances and to plan their sightseeing activities. A representative from the area will be available to highlight the many attractions and sights in the Boston area.

Welcome Reception

It's time for some "lighter fare"! Before embarking on your Boston experience, plan to stop by the ISCEBS Welcome Reception. Join your fellow attendees for appetizers, refreshments and of course, great conversation! Symposium registrants, speakers and guests are invited to attend.

Fun Run/Walk

Start your day off right with an invigorating walk or run. The route and other details will be posted at the Symposium registration desk.

Sign and Dine

Monday, September 23

Shipping Service

 

Ship your Symposium materials home from Boston. We will make all of the arrangements, provide the shipping materials and print the shipping label. And best of all - it's free of charge! The shipping service is open Monday through Wednesday.

Information Specialist

During the Symposium, meet one of the International Foundation's information specialists who will be on site to:

  • Take your benefits, compensation and human resources information requests. Come prepared and take advantage of the world's most extensive employee benefits library.
  • Give guided tours of the ISCEBS and International Foundation websites. You can look at survey data, frequently asked questions, industry news, hot benefits topics, our benefits glossary, full-text articles and much more!

Hospitality Room

Spouses and guests have an opportunity to make new acquaintances and to plan their sightseeing activities. A representative from the area will be available to highlight the attractions and sights in the Boston area.
