The International Society is pleased to offer the Affiliate Member category of membership for CEBS candidates who complete the requirements for earning the Compensation Management Specialist (CMS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designations that are part of the CEBS program and active CEBS students who have completed at least one exam.
Dues and services are structured similarly to those of graduate Society members. However, Affiliate Members will not be eligible to hold office or serve on the governing council or a national committee. Since candidate members have been active in Society chapters for many years, the membership rules for local chapters have not changed. Most chapters allow Affiliate Members to serve on committees or serve on the board of directors; however, they are not permitted to hold office at the chapter level.
