Other Options for Fellowship

Additional Fellowship Options!

The International Society announces new ways for CEBS graduates to earn fellowship status. Now, it's easier than ever to expand your knowledge, broaden your career horizons and join an elite group of CEBS graduates!

In addition to the annual continuing education course/examination for the U.S. and Canada, Society members have other ways to qualify for fellowship status. Members will be awarded two-year fellowship status for each CEBS course completed, provided it was not used toward earning the CEBS designation.

U.S. members who take courses from the Canadian CEBS program or Canadians who take U.S. courses will be able to use them to qualify for fellowship.

How Will I Benefit?

  • Fellowship status signifies the highest level of academic achievement for a CEBS graduate as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professionalism. By broadening your knowledge you'll not only provide more value to your organization, you'll also stand out as part of a select group of CEBS graduates.
  • You can earn an additional designation—the CMS, GBA or RPA—and add these credentials to your business cards and personal vitae.
  • Continuing your employee benefits education will help you stay current with emerging trends and developments. It also will help you become more strategic by deepening your knowledge in a new area.
  • You can earn continuing education (CE) credit. In many states and provinces, you can use CEBS courses to meet your continuing education requirements. Visit the CEBS Web site at www.cebs.org for more information.
  • U.S. graduates who complete the Financial Planning curriculum fulfill the educational prerequisite to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.
