The Chapter Volunteer Forum is open to any chapter volunteer - officer, board member, committee chair, etc. - looking to network with other volunteers, learn ways to strengthen their local chapter and gain a deeper understanding of the International Society. Reimbursement is available for this meeting.
Why it’s important to attend this meeting
We value your contributions as a volunteer and want to help you and your chapter succeed. The Volunteer Forum will provide you with additional information to help you make the most of your time as a chapter volunteer. The Society is only as strong as its volunteers and its members. Help ensure the growth of YOUR professional association by providing a solid role in your chapter’s future.
Things the Society covers/coordinates:
  • The Society makes hotel arrangements for attendees at Embassy Suites in Brookfield, WI.
  • Travel reimbursement for up to $350 USD (actual expenses),
  • Dinner for attendees on Wednesday evening and dinner transportation. Dinner will be at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
  • Breakfast for attendees on Thursday (provided by the hotel).
  • Lunch for attendees on Thursday at Society headquarters.
  • Transportation on Thursday: Embassy Suites > Society headquarters > General Mitchell Airport.
What the individual attendees need to coordinate/cover:
  • Fill out the registration form so the Society knows you'll be attending.
  • Book your airfare from your home city to General Mitchell International (MKE). Return flights at 5 p.m. or later would be ideal.
  • Coordinate transportation from the airport to Embassy Suites upon your arrival in Wisconsin. Embassy Suites, 1200 S. Moorland Rd., Brookfield, WI 53005.
  • Parking costs at your home airport.
  • Any additional travel expenses or meals not listed above.

Make sure your chapter is represented! It’s not too early to discuss this meeting with your chapter board and determine who will attend.
