Join the DFW Chapter of ISCEBS and Courtney Walker, Pharm.D., R.Ph, with Novo Nordisk for a webinar: "Obesity in the Workplace: Using the Employer Lens for Accountable Obesity Management" on Thursday, August 8th at 12:00 pm Central.

In this session, participants will understand obesity as a progressive, chronic disease warranting medical management by furthering the understanding of hormones in appetite regulation and adaption to weight loss. Participants will also discuss obesity management solutions, including supporting the development of population health initiatives, such as obesity programs, protocol, and quality improvement projects as well as how to incorporate employer patient-oriented services and tools, including digital solutions and educational offerings.   

 Objectives:

  • Understand the prevalence of obesity and its economic burden and impact on our current economy
  • Establish obesity as a progressive, chronic disease warranting medical management
  • Develop and understand employer based obesity management solutions
