Webinar: Women's Healthcare: From Fragmentation to Cost & Outcome Impact
February 17, 2026
11:00 AM Central

Women’s health has become a critical issue for employers but progress has lagged for decades. While family building receives outsized attention, it represents only ~10% of a women’s lifespan. The remaining 90% is driven by fragmented, uncoordinated care across conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, menopause, and chronic gynecologic and hormonal issues—making women’s healthcare a top 5 category of medical spend, alongside cancer and MSK.

This panel will explore why women’s health is finally gaining traction, what women are asking for now, and how fragmented care models drive unnecessary utilization, procedures, and prescriptions. Panelists will discuss how coordinated, whole-person care models can reduce total cost of care (TCOC) while improving access, experience, and outcomes for women across the workforce.

Discussion topics include:
  • Why women’s health now: unmet needs, workforce impact, and employee expectations
  • How fragmented care drives hidden costs and avoidable utilization
  • The link between coordinated care and measurable TCOC savings
  • Employer strategies to improve outcomes while managing healthcare spend

Shelly Lanning will moderate a discussion bringing together perspectives from a care delivery organization, a health plan sponsor, and an employer partner. Panelists will share practical lessons learned, initiatives underway, and considerations for employers evaluating women’s health solutions.

Panelists: Dr. Angela Flippin-Trainer, Medical Director, Cigna Healthcare
Tom Armani,
Formerly Director Global Benefits, Dayforce
