Webinar: The Silver Tsunami: How an Aging Population Is Reshaping Employee Wellbeing
November 12, 2026
By 2029, for the first time in U.S. history, Americans age 65 and older are projected to outnumber children under 18. This historic demographic shift—the “Silver Tsunami”—will have profound implications not only for healthcare and long-term care, but for the millions of working Americans increasingly taking on a second role as family caregiver.

This session will explore how an aging population and the growing demands of eldercare are reshaping employee wellbeing. We’ll examine why caregiving often remains invisible in the workplace, how it contributes to burnout, absenteeism, leave, and turnover, and why solving the logistical tasks of care addresses only part of the challenge. Attendees will leave with a new framework for understanding both the tasks of caregiving and the toll it takes on employees—and practical ways employers can better support the caregivers already in their workforce.
