Menopause-age women account for 30% of the U.S. labor force, impacting women at the height of their careers. One in four American women will experience serious menopause symptoms that affect their work. This can cost an estimated $1.8 billion in lost working time per year with an average of $2,100 in direct and indirect health care costs per woman annually. Many women end up leaving the workplace completely due to their symptoms. Through creatively offering menopause benefits, organizations can ensure that their female employees continue to grow and succeed, which positively affects organizational culture and impacts business and the bottom line.

This session will:

• Identify myths and truths

• Start conversations about menopause in the workplace

• Differentiate cultural influences and impacts of menopause and employment

• Integrate menopause benefits through a cross-cultural collaborative approach with a reproducible eight-step plan to positively impact health and productivity.
