The Missing Pillar of Workplace Well-Being: Why Human Connection Matters

Tuesday, November 10, 2026

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM ET

Organizations invest significantly in supporting the physical, mental and financial health of employees, but one important dimension of well-being is often overlooked: social health—the strength and quality of our relationships and human connections.

In this engaging webcast, GenWell will explore the growing science behind human connection and its impact on employee well-being, resilience, engagement and workplace culture. Participants will learn why connection is more than a “nice to have,” how disconnection can affect people and organizations, and the role employers and benefit leaders can play in creating environments that make meaningful connection easier.

Using GenWell’s practical Social Health framework, participants will leave with simple, evidence-informed strategies they can apply within their organizations and existing workplace well-being initiatives.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand social health and its relationship to physical and mental well-being.
  • Recognize how connection and disconnection can influence employee resilience, engagement and workplace culture.
  • Identify practical ways organizations can strengthen human connection through everyday workplace practices, programs and benefits strategies.
